Stripers-Seabass Trip with the Adam Conley Charter
Had Adam back for an ocean run with buddies Pat, Mat, Steve and JB. Made bait and was going to head north, but decided to take a drift, went 1-2 to start the day. Looked around and made a drift in pea soup fog and landed another one. Decided to head deeper, found a nice herd of cows willing to play. Went 3-6 with fish blowing up the baits next to the boat. once the dust settled with everyone in the crew landing a bass up to 38lbs we changed gears and went seabassing. Had a decent back landing 2 dozen keepers with over 50 shorts. Glad to be back in the ocean at Point Pleasant!
Andreas Toy+Yamaha Outboard Marine Motors
Good news for the Andreas Toy organization, we were officially notified that Andreas Toy has achieved Yamaha's National Fishing Team status. The hard work and reputation by my team has garnered us support from one of the top if not #'1 Outboard company. This designation falls in line with my philosophy of partnering with the top Manufacturer's in their market segment. With Shimano and Contender, now adding Yamaha to the Mix makes us complete. Thanks for all of the supporters and well wishers and hope to continue to provide quality service and insight to our fishing community!

2 Days of Striper Fishing with Hodges-Tyas Charter
Had Mike and buddies Mat, Wayne, Steve, and Brad fly in from Tenessee. Made our bait on day one and went to work, fought through 50 Blues to land two fish to 20lbs. Next day made bait and made to the decision to fish the bay and work our way south. Same as day before made bait and slugged through 50 blues to land 1 striper, went to rocks dead, worked one of my favortie lumps and had to nice fish on losing both. Made a run way south to seaside and worked the bunker pods with no luv. Tough long day but cool guys made the trip easier. On a bright note we made the move back to our home base of Clarks Landing in time for the fluke-seabass opener this weekend. Now our trips will focus on multi-species fishing which my customers enjoy.

Once the tide started moving we set the hook and threw the meat. Had a slow pick but managed another 3 Bass and half a dozen blues. Ended the day, using some light tackle on some blues. Then Eric and Dennis got into the action and we had a nice flurry, landing another 4 fish. Told Harry who is 90 years young, that we will not leave till he lands a fish, so he landed the last fish which a nice 30lb'r biggest in the bay for us this year.
