Bluefin with Open Boat Crew

Had regulars Jordon and Will with Mike and Tom. Took a bouncy ride to the grounds and found some whales no luv. Did some trolling nada. Tried to jig Cod on the wrecks nothing. Worked some great Slicks with birds and rays nothing, got a call from Dave and finally got the Right one. Congrats Tom on jigging your first bluefin.

Mahi Madness with Chris Peterson

Had Chris with daughter Ashlynn, plan was to jig bluefin, With dismal reports and no good action, called a quick audible  And went on the mahi hunt, found the mother lode and put 25 in the box on light tackle. Went back on the bluefin hunt and  never got a touch, glad I was able to provide them with some action.

Bluefin Jigging with Jeremy Ingle

Had regular Jeremy back with buddy Manny, went to Where I had them them last, it was a ghost town. Made the run north and found acres of birds and rays. Out in the Chatter tracker spread and had our first fish. Came back around and proceeded to have a nice pick  Of fish going 7-8. My 2 guys had all they could handle And took a sprint back and was back by lunchtime!  

Bluefin Jigging Beat Down, with Adam/Luke

Had longtime regular Adam with newcomer Luke, made it  To the grounds and found the life. Dropped the jigs and Game on, had our over at 49 inches and our unders limit  And made a sprint, and was at the dock by lunchtime!

Mixed Bag Offshore with the Regulars

 Had longtime offshore fisherman Mike With Adam, Matt, and newcomer  Ken. Started out looking for the life and lost 2 fish on the troll. Saw Real concentrated life and decided to jig, quickly got our over and unders. Decided to shift gears and took a quick sprint to the canyon, topped the boxes  Off with a dozen mahi and Tiles, great way to end the day!

 

Afternoon Sprint To Tuna Grounds

Had the pleasure of jumping on my buddies Rocket ship And doing some fishing. Left Barnegat at lunchtime found  The whales jigged a nice 50 incher which I had tamed at the boat within 15 minutes. Felt good to get on the rod for a change!

Bluefin Beatdown with the Dave Rivera Crew

Had Dave out with his brother Ray, son Gabe and buddies  Dan and Chris. Got on the fish early, got our Limit on Chatter side trackers in lemon/lime and purple/black. Decided to try and jig/shark drift to give the guys a break  And kill time. No luv on sharks or jigs. Went back on the Troll, and released some fish before heading to the barn.

Mixed Bag Midshore/offshore with Rob Lombardo crew

Had Rob out with buddies Gerard and Jimmy. Started  at Midshore spot, didn't hear of much action and took A gamble and ran far to the north. Nothing at all. Headed To canyons to get some action. Got there and had some mahi, With Golden and bluelines Tiles. After stuffing the fishbox ran  Inshore and formation a bluefin. Lord of work but these guys Comic relief made it very pleasurable.

Canyon Trip with Peter Sirusas and crew

Had Pete out with dad George and buddies Fred and Bob. Gave them the choice midshore bluefin or mixed bag canyon. Went all the way had action early with some throwback yellows. Hit some pots since water looked good, got half a dozen. Went  back on the troll and had better action wounded up with another  Half dozen before going tilefishing. Wasn't too good and decided  To call it an early day
