Fathers Day Family Trip

Had the best Fathers Day, had 3 generations of Gamboa's and Greg with his dad, started out Letting the kids play with seabass, then it was time for me to play with some real fish. Landed a bunch of brown and black tips sharks up to 5 feet with my brother Eddy getting the biggest and Capt Greg getting the smallest.😜🤪. Blessed to have this life!

Henry Mossi Trip

Had Henry Mossi and the boys out today. Plan was to fish midshore for bluefin then shark. Had a late start out of the gate, when we got to the grounds the 

Early birds definitely got the worm. Tried my best to find them, only albies. Hit the local wreck got picked over pretty good, had mostly ling. Went for the Hail Mary for a late day shark, put em out and got the right bite but couldn't make it stick. Tough day all the way around, even worse the guys were great guys

Shawn Lochan Tuna and Tiles

Had Shawn Lochan and the boys out today, started out the bluefin grounds getting our limit. Decided to make a run out to the deep to fish the 72 degree break out there and got our first yellowfin of the season. Bite quickly died so decided to change gears and load up on tiles for a dozen of them to end the day on a high note

Bluefin for Andrea’s 21st Birthday

Today was a great day, had my girl Andrea on the boat to celebrate her 22st birthday with 10 of her girls. We enjoyed seeing all the life we all fisherman enjoy and putting her on a nice bluefin. Life is good with the family!

TJ Miller - MRMTC Bluefin Open

Had TJ Miller on the boat for our first trip of the tournament season at MRMTC Bluefin Open. Insane bite all morning doubles and triples the whole time. Hopefully our catch keeps us on the leaderboard 

John Moore Bluefin and Tilefish

Had John Moore and family on board today. Plan was to look for tuna both mid and offshore. Left the inlet with fog in our face the entire day. Was able to find some life inshore but no bites, got out to the deep and fog met us out there, had a hard time finding the life. Decided to tilefish until fogged burned off, that wasn't much better, late in the day fog cleared and able to find some life, congrats to Jeff busting his tuna cherry, came back inshore could not find the life, even seabassing sucked, south wind? Crazy thing never saw another boat the whole day.

Mike Inella Stripers

Had Mike Inella with crew on board today, plan was to run for tuna, with forecast didn't think it was wise. Changed gears and put the guys on a striper limit. Claudio got the biggest at 38 inches also popping his cherry

Tattoo Dan Bluefin and Tiles

Fun day today with Tattoo Dan with buddies Daniel and Dom. Found the whales and went to work getting our Bluefin under limit popping Daniel and Dom's cherries. Switched gears and went on the tile hunt, popped their cherries again on Goldens to 30lb and Blues to 15lbs, great day again!
