Give us a call to get your dates on the books for spring of 2024. We will be starting in mid March out of Perth Amboy.

George Striper Blitz

Well that was incredible. Capt Greg had out George Hamway and crew for a striper trip out of Manasquan Inlet. Got on a good bite and caught about 10-15 fish on spooks and then the rest on flutter spoons and shads. Kept our limit of fish, tagged until we ran out of tags (50 tagged) and kept releasing. Multiple times where I stopped the boat and had all four guys with fish on at once. Ended the day with somewhere between 60 and 65 fish- can't get any better than this.

Really excellent fishing going on!!!

Eric and Bill Offshore Trip

Had Eric and Bill back for their yearly offshore trip. Bill's dad started us off with a bang  with a nice 60 inch tuna. Landed another nice tuna missed a few then the bite slowed. Decided to switch gears and did some light tackle mahi, got over 20 for the boys for some tacos, then switched it up again. Did some deep drop for tiles adding a half dozen to the box. Ended the trip with some more tuna after lunch on jigs.

Jim Vanator Tuna

Had Jim Vanator and crew from Alaska out today, made bait and got to the grounds, albeit a tad late. Able to jig 2 nice yellows and the bite completely died. Went searching, found some mahi, but not what I expected. Found a nice slick and started working  and hooked up a big fish on 40 flouro, during the fight we had tuna thick in the spread. John and Steve did a great job on the fish, but due to a prolonged fight the taxman came a calling. Awesome sight to see 500lb mako  turn our 70lb tuna into  a Scooby snack! After she showed up game was over. On the way home looked for some bluefin and found them, fish airing out from 100-500lbs, however couldn't get a bite, tough day of fishing but the boys from Alaska got to see the New Jersey offshore scene!

Broke Tom's tuna cherry, but the bite didn't last, going 1-3. Decided to get the crew into some action so got close to 15 mahi with the biggest of the season going almost 20lbs.
