Mahi TV Shoot with Reel Fishing with Upstream

Had Charles and Gerard back to do a shoot on mahi. Saw hundreds but very little cooperation. Fortunately caught enough to put together a show. Nonetheless great music and good times!

Had Adam out with brother MatT and buddies Jordon, Aaron, Kenny, Steve. From the time we got there at 10 until we left at 12,we had over 20 bites on jigs and bait. Insane fishing. Kept 10 plenty of meat for the crew and left them biting. Went mahi fishing to end the day. Great day of fishing!

Had Demtri back with his bro Jeremy and Manny. Started out with the tuna which was slow for us, but still managed to land 3 nice ones. Changed to mahi which wasn't much better but landed half a dozen with the guys landing their first up to 12lbs.

Had long time customers Mike, Russ, with newcomers Chris, Dan and Anthony out today. Started chunking and jigging going 6-9 on stud Yellowfin, thanks Sal for the shoutout. Once the bite slowed ended the day light tackle mahi fishing landing over 30, great time with some good dudes!

Had longtime customer Russ back with buddies Bob, Tim, Al and newcomer Darryl. Started off on the yellows jigging and chunking going 6-10 to start the day. Ended the day mahi fishing landing over 20 mahi. Fun time with the guys, headed in early to beat the storms.

Andreas Toy Second Day of MMRTC with John Swain family

Had John back with daughter Lauren, her fiancé Jalen And nephew Jake. Decided to start the trip of with  Mahi Landing over 30 of them, then went to the Tuna Grounds going 4-7, it was the kids first time Tuna fishing. They did a great job each landing one on a jig. Made it to  The scales but not able to place this year, great job to the teams that placed.

Ballem Family Inshore Speedsters Mixed Bag

Capt Willy and Greg had the Ballem family out today on the inshore grounds for a mixed bag trip. Mission accomplished and caught 10 different species including Bonito, Spanish Macks, and albies all close to home. Ended the trip with a dock and dine at Waypoint 622.

Had first time customer Steve with sons Evan and Scott. This was their first time tuna fishing and the boys did great. After 3 fish the guys were ready to shift gear and went  Mahi fishing. Guys luved that Landing over 20 on light Tackle gear. Awesome time with the guys.

Andreas Toy Fishing MMRTC Tournament with John Swain and crew

Had John out with buddies Mike, Aaron and Joe to fish the MMRTC tournament against some of the best fishing crews on the east coast. Started out in canyons looking for a sword at night, but only had limited time 3 hours and 2 knot drift was a waste of time. Tried for bigeye no luck just longfin. Came inside to get our Yellowfin to put us on the  Board for 2nd place for tuna stringer. Great time fishing with this crew!
