Open Boat 4/11 on the 31’

Slow fishing today for the open boat group on the 31’ not for lack of trying. Marked them all over and in big piles but weak fishing casting the shads around. Didnt troll at all on our trip given it was an open boat but the troll boats did well. With the amount of fish around it should break wide open

Uncharted Waters Stripers & Statue Cruise

Had Elijah founder of Uncharted Waters back with our youth from Philadelphia. Had a great day getting fish while the sun was rising. By the end of the morning each child had landed multiple fish. Ended the day taking a cruise up the Hudson to give the kids a chance of seeing NYC up close and from water view perspective!

Had Scott Murdoch and sons out today for some Offshore bottom fishing. Started out on some wrecks but didn't like the size of the Pollock or Ling so shifted gears to get on some Tiles. Had a nice pick getting the family their limit in some great conditions for March.

Bahamas Last Trip

Had our last trip of the winter down south. Guys wanted a meat trip light tackle, no trolling. Bahamas did not disappoint, had over a dozen species and at lots shellfish as well.

Got a chance to hang with the locals and immerse ourselves in the local flavor which was a great experience. Will miss this place.

Birthday Trip Florida

Key West

Back in Key West for my Birthday, back here with the boys and Jersey Transplant Mark. Had a fun filled day with 10 different species today all on light tackle. Did try some deep

Dropping but current was ripping too hard. Took the fish to Misohappy in downtown Key West. Had the yellow jack in hamachi jalapeno, nigiri ,sashimi and sushi rolls. The snapper were done in Green and Panang Curry sauces and the grouper in a Khao Soi stir fry noodles. Wtf?!😳😂🤪
