Mahi Madness with the Jeff Kaprolick Crew

Had Jeff out with daughter Tammy and buddies Chris and Adrian. Plan was for tuna hit a couple of spots but no luv, Gave the charter the choice to run way up north or crush mahi  On the pots. They choose the latter proceeded to crush the  Mahis Landing over 30 with half a dozen slobs between 15-18lbs.

Had Bob out with buddies Pete, James, and Dave. Had been a away for a week on family vacation. Had to figure out the recent pattern. Got to the grounds and found the life I wanted, Set up on the drift and game on, landed our 2 unders When the big fish hit, took and hour for some pretty strong  dudes to subdue the fish but landed our biggest fish of the  Year 58 inches. Guys had enough of Tuna by 10am and  Finished the day bailing on some mahi. Great fun guys to fish with.

Had Bobby back with sons RJ and Andrew. Made the Run to the inshore grounds and found the life we wanted. Had our first fish in the boat in the first 10 minutes with the  guys putting a beating on the fish. Had steady pick of bites  through out the morning. Guys had to wrestle with some big Fish, wound up going 2-6 to end the day.

Mixed Bag Inshore/Canyon with Blake Lezak crew

Had first timer on the Toy with buddy Renee and good friends from California John and Gina. Started inshore and got 3 under bluefin to start the trip. At That point with great conditions  We Made the decision to load up the boxes with other species. Ran to the canyon and pot hopped a dozen mahi. Dropped for tiles and got a half dozen up to 35lbs. On way home banged another half dozen mahi and made the 40 knot sprint home.

Had regulars Jordon and Will with Mike and Tom. Took a bouncy ride to the grounds and found some whales no luv. Did some trolling nada. Tried to jig Cod on the wrecks nothing. Worked some great Slicks with birds and rays nothing, got a call from Dave and finally got the Right one. Congrats Tom on jigging your first bluefin.

Mahi Madness with Chris Peterson

Had Chris with daughter Ashlynn, plan was to jig bluefin, With dismal reports and no good action, called a quick audible  And went on the mahi hunt, found the mother lode and put 25 in the box on light tackle. Went back on the bluefin hunt and  never got a touch, glad I was able to provide them with some action.

Had regular Jeremy back with buddy Manny, went to Where I had them them last, it was a ghost town. Made the run north and found acres of birds and rays. Out in the Chatter tracker spread and had our first fish. Came back around and proceeded to have a nice pick  Of fish going 7-8. My 2 guys had all they could handle And took a sprint back and was back by lunchtime!
