Open Boat Morning Striper Bite

Capts Greg and Kenny had an open boat group out today and our first handful of drifts this morning made our day on shads and flutter spoons. Glen Kaufman had high hook with the shads catching a 37 inch fish. Our next open boat trip is Sunday April 16 PM. See schedule below for more charter dates, thanks guys! 

Bob Brown Stripers on the 44

Had first timer to the Toy Bob Brown with daughter Elizabeth and buddy Sean with son Justin and buddy Pat. Started the kids off early with some nice quality fish. Then went looking joined Capt Greg on a spoon bite till that fizzled. Made a run and found a nice patch of fish eating getting another bunch of fish to get our limit then go into release mode. 

George Striper Flurry

Capt Greg and Kenny had George, Bert, Lonnie, and Jim G today on the 31 and covered a lot of ground. We got on a good flurry of fish for an hour and made it count but fizzled out quick. Biggest fish was 42" - about 27lbs and most fish came on flutter spoons.

Had Greg Mulligan and the boys Scott and Owen. Very slow bite today only landing half a dozen up to 34 inches, damn moon!

Gary Hamrah and Sons Stripers

Had first timer on the boat today Gary Hamrah with sons Daniel and Nick and cousin Omar. started trip real slow, found an occasional fish here and there. Got a call from one of my good buddies,thanks cuz to a casting bite, which kids enjoyed. On way home got into a real nice bite to ended the day with close to 20 fish up to 36 inches on a challenging day.

Open Boat Stripers with John Kelly and Phil Masters

Capts Greg and Kenny had an open boat trip with John Kelly and friends along with Phil Masters and son. Started the trip with a slower pick of fish on shads. The wind flopped out and got on some fish that wanted to chew. Shane had the hot hand ending the day with 16 himself. Tagged about 25 fish today making that 100 tagged so far this year for @grayfishtags
