Mark/Fulton Florida

Another great day with my brother from another Mark/Fulton. Started out on the tuna grounds jigging for tuna and Lindsey got us started on the biggest Yellow Jack I have ever seen, which is the best sashimi! Jigged some muttons and other critters and decided to change gears. Got on some nice bottom and loaded up on muttons and groupers, kept only the bigger ones, easily releasing our limit in a few hours. Lost a couple of giants, probably Goliaths and ended the day early having drinks by the pool.

Marc Jackson Snappers, Grouper, Barracuda

Had my buddy Marc Jackson in town from North Carolina, brought his family and buddy and son along. Decided to bottomfish for some tasty critters, had a nice morning getting our snapper limit, with some keeper Red Grouper.  The kids wanted to land some big Barracudas so we ended the day targeting them!

Key West on the Reefs

Second day in Key West. Rinse and repeat, wtf?! Got our limit of grouper and snapper in short order! Best part of it all in shallow water watching them eat the baits and drags start to scream! Ended the day early and had a buffet 3 different ways at Conch Republic.

Andrea’s Toy Key West

Back down in Florida for second trip, this time ran the boat from West Palm down to Key West. Had the pleasure of hosting Capt Joe Trainor.  This morning started the day on the wahoo troll, mission accomplished, decided to get on the bottom fish Dry Tortugas is famous for, boy it didn't disappoint! Had so many different species of groupers and snappers every drop making my head spin. Half the fish we couldn't stop on the light leaders. But the AFW pink in 20 handled these fish. Thanks to Imperium for their Wahoo lures, they are consistently catching us  fish through Bahamas/Florida. Just finished grilling some Yellowtail tacos and some Yellow jack sashimi Time to get some sleep, spending the night at Fort Jefferson get on it again in am!

Roger Sanford Stripers

Had Roger and the guys out today. Weather forecast kept the boat traffic away and we were happy for that since we were pretty much alone on the feeds. Some really good drifts & some ok drifts but ended with 21 fish for 3 guys and a box of keepers. Conditions deteriorated late morning so we headed in, thanks guys!

Jim P Stripers

Had Jim P out today and got our keepers in the breeze with a lot of other releases between shorts and overs. Fish were blowing up all over the place however we didn't catch as many as we saw. Covered a ton of ground but glad we did! Our  next open boat is Saturday December 6th.

Frank Klusman Stripers

Had Frank Klusman from the Anchor Painting fishing team on boat with owner Tom, son Jake and buddy John. Started out in smaller bass getting a bunch, then picked up and headed east getting all keepers. Ended the day casting to fish on the surface

Charlie Bush Fall Stripers

Capt Greg and Shane had Charlie Bush and his group which was more than 6 passengers so we enlisted the help of dock neighbor Vinny from Morning Dew. Got out in less than ideal conditions this morning and jigged some fish right off the bat. Variety of sized fish from overs to keepers and shorts. Ended the day with a boat limit releasing a variety of sizes of fish as well.

Frank DeMello Stripers

Capt Greg had his dad Frank and friends out today for stripers. Incredible fishing for the first two hours with multiple on at a time on every drift. Frank DeMello was high hook with 11 stripers. The boat traffic was insane around 8am but by then the damage was done. Bounced around picking some more fish before heading in early.

Had Jim and Mason out today. We were greeted with birds working and fish splashing getting our keepers in no time. We had good action throughout the trip with all fish coming on jigs and topwater and headed in early. Great trip!

Had Dan Kelly and Joey out today- netted bait and only picked a couple so mid morning took a ride looking and wow the life was amazing. Great fishing with double ups on Shad Life 6" paddle tails and Kroc spoons. Great fishing in some less than favorable weather but well worth the bouncy sea conditions!

Bahamas Day 2

Day 2 in Paradise. Started off with a bang getting 2 nice wahoo. Got on the reef for a drift and got muttons, strawberry groupers, cudas until the sharks showed up and they were hungry. In the afternoon we put away the fishing gear and got out the snorkel gear and look for lobster, and that worked out well and we had ourselves set up for a great dinner. Blackened wahoo, Grilled lobster tails in garlic butter, conch fritters with mac cheese and peas and rice.

In the afternoon Capt Greg had first timer Ed Beers and friends out. Went back to our morning area and caught some large overs and came back closer to home boxing four keepers. Carmine Jr. was high hook with six dropping a few others.

Dan Kelly Stripers

Capt Greg and Shane had a double today. Left in the dark this morning and were first on the fish breaking under birds with 3-4 on right off the bat. Fish were under the birds swirling for miles. Action slowed once every boat in NJ showed up but still picked away. Biggest fish went approx 40"

Bahamas Trip

Andreas Toy Winter Season has officially started. Boat was hauled down to Loggerhead Marina Riviera Beach, who are hosting us for this month to make our Bahama runs. Awesome team down here!

Dr. Gerry Tuna Mahi Tiles

Had Dr Gerry and the boys back today. Slow morning on the tuna grounds so shifted to mahi getting close to 40 gaffers, then dropped for tile getting 30. Went back on the tuna hunt and they were ready to chew, went 3-7 on the UVT jigs.

Jim Vanator Tuna

Had Jim Vanator and the Alaska boys out today. Had his nephews Steve and Mike and newcomer Travis. Made the long slow ride out to the grounds. Got there and the massacre bite was over. On our first drift we were able to get a bite in first 5 minutes and pop Travis tuna cherry. Rest of the evening/night sucked going 1-7, ugh?!!!  Fortunately next morning we were able to land a few more tuna before heading home.

Mario Florentini Mahi Bluefin

Had first timer Mario Fiorentini out today with sons and uncle Bernie. Started out on pots and the bigger ones had lockjaw, but the peanuts were ready to eat. Decided to chum hard with live peanuts and found the life I needed getting the schoolie bluefin in a frenzy releasing fish up to 50 inches.

Tom Mallon Tuna Mahi

Had Tom Mallon and son out with guest appearance with Jay from Sushi by Sea. Started out am trolling for bigeyes, unfortunately our ticket wasn't punched. So we packed  the box with light tackle mahis. Changed gears and went on the hunt for yellowfin, found them but they wouldn't bite the jig after crew fishing hard for a few hours. Put in the purple tracker mini bullet and had an instant bite.

Joe Mihalyi Canyon

Had first timer to offshore Joe Mihalyi and the boys for a mixed bag trip. Boy was it ever! Started the trip jigging yellows on the UVT jigs, then we ran to canyon to load up on mahi and tiles eating the UVT jigs. Came back to the scene of the crime for a great top water bite on the UVT poppers!

Rich Walsh Tuna Mahi

Had Rich Walsh and the boys out today. Started out on a crazy bonito bite, things then slowed, got a bluefin on UVT jig to pop Garrets cherry. Went looking around and found Log loaded with mahi, nailed a bunch of them. Finally found some great life with Rays and chicks and the boys went to work with the UVT jigs. William got in the action popping his cherry!

Mike Inzetta Tuna Tiles

Had regular Mike Inzetta and the boys back. Got to the tuna grounds and found the life but no action. Chased the porpoise for a while still no luv. Found a log and able to  pull some mahi off of it. Decided to hit canyon for some good tilefishing for both blues and goldens. Went back on the hunt and able to load up on bonito and pop Keith's tuna cherry.
