Had one of my canyon customers give us a try for Stripers. Told him fishing has been good, so he came out. Brought his buddies Lane and Walt. Fishing was a tough grind, worked real hard to get their limit, but pulled it out. Glad I was able to get them on the meat. See you guys in the summer!

Kids Striper Limit-Elijah's Promise Community Service Trip
Had a very fulfilling day today. Last week after church I talked to my eldest son about giving back to the community, we decided collectively that we should go out fishing as a family and donate the fish to a food bank. Me and my son met with Tony and Chef Pam at Elijah's Promise in New Brunswick about our idea. To say that they were excited to have fresh fish donated was an understatement! This morning me and my kids Danny, Antonio, and Andrea left the dock on a mission, in half an hour we landed the kids limit of fish up to 15lbs. Headed back to the dock to prepare the catch for the Food Bank. Made our delivery finishing off a great day!
Striper Trip with the Paul Gosdick Charter
Had a call in the morning from Paul that his crew was in search of a boat for an afternoon Striper run. Capt Ed Youngull was available so he took out 3 generations of Gosdicks Jack and Jordon, with Gordon and Connor Hoagland. Connor was first up to bat, and landed the first Striper of his life. The crew got into the groove and landed 7 Bass to 18lbs. After the wind came on the crew was satified with their catch and headed for the barn. Congrats to Connor on his first Striper.

Pepe Del Heirro Charter
Had a special guest onboard today, my wife's cousin Pepe came in from Montreal Canada with Bass on the brain. Timing was perfect and he limited the boat with my buddies Bob and Capt Ed's limit to 15lbs in half and hour. Released another dozen for fun. On way home to grill some of them up. Family back in Canada will enjoy fresh Bass fillets from the Jersey Shore!

Striper Limit with Larry Brusskin Charter
Had long time regular Larry back out with buddy Ed and stepson Julius. Made the move to Raritan Bay for the next dew weeks and couldn't have started the season a better note. Got our limit in the first half hour of fishing with fish to 35 inches. Decided to change gears but conditions did not allow us to use the flounder light tackle gear on circle hooks. Trolled for an hour and released another half dozen keepers and shorts.
Striper Limit with Jai Deokaran
Had Jai and his crew of Deo, Raj, Suresh, and son Brian out for the first time with us. Guys got their limit in the first hour and went into release mode, had fish up to 20lbs today in decent bay conditions.Half of the guys landing their first Stripers. Had a fun time with this crew and look forward to getting them back out.
