Drew Carlson Stripers

In the afternoon with Drew Carlson we got set up and went 2/4 on big fish on the first drift and even caught the biggest fish of our Raritan Bay season so far. Thought it was going to be a great bite but only caught one more on the succeeding drifts. Had some bites but couldn’t connect with a lot of them. Ran all over looking and found a lone keeper late in the trip.

Jim P Stripers

On Sunday Capt Greg had Jim P out in the morning. Netting bait was easy and we got on some big fish right away. Always entertaining seeing them blowing baits up and hooking them! With the amount of boats mid morning it killed the bite so we went looking for keepers and found one for the table.

39’ Boat Move to Point Pleasant

Moved the big girl back to Point today. Had the Rivera family on board. Played the Trophy game.

Mike landed his personal best 43 incher. Decided to hit the mudhole for ling, got some for dinner. Couldn't believe water conditions out there, thought I was in the Bahamas.

In the afternoon had Sam Angelo and family out. Fishing was tough to say the least and struggled covering a lot of ground looking for the bite that never materialized

David Hockenberry Stripers

Capt Greg had a double on the 31 with David Hockenberry and crew in the AM. Elected to look for keeper sized fish as opposed to the big overs and came up short only catching a couple for the table.

Andy Talone Stripers

Excellent day of fishing for Andy Talone and crew - did a few long drifts catching some jumbo stripers up to 43”. Exciting to see them blowing the baits out of the water! Switched it up and went looking for keeper size fish and got on a great bite and boxed a limit of keepers. We released many more for another time- great day!

Dave Frankel Stripers

Had Dave Frankel and crew out today. We netted bait easily while the sun was coming up and made a run. Picked some fish early and when that dried up took a little ride and got on some fish boxing our limit of keepers and releasing a bunch more for another day. Thanks guys!

On the 31 in the morning had Jake Sigmund out for his birthday. Netted our bait and got off to a great start with 12 year old Logan starting us off. The bite was good for the beginning of the morning until the tide change when it shut down.

Mark Kuminski Stripers

Had Mark Kuminski for stripers and got off to a slow start. Stuck it out and put together a nice catch putting in a little bit of OT. Fish even came up ontop in the shallow water and blew up on the 9” spooks in addition to the live bunker.

Capt Greg had Glenn Kaufman and friends back for stripers. Took a little while getting bait then we bounced around picking fish here and there. Found a great bite to end the day and got everyone on a bunch of fish

Henry Shio Stripers

In the afternoon had three generations of the Shio family out. Started locally picking a few fish and took a ride to get on a steady pick of fish on live bunker. They had only live lined once before and did a great job in the windy conditions!

Rodrigo Stripers

On Sunday on the 31 Capt Greg had Rodrigo and friends out. Left early to get a jump on the boats and made our bait- caught a couple right off the bat and made a move to get on some better fishing but had the bass blowing up the baits around the boat not really committing. Grinded it out at the end to and found a few more bites. Thanks for fishing hard!

Had first time customer Aaron Best and family on the boat this afternoon. Got our bait and went on the hunt, first drift we had 5 fish, had a pick for the rest of the trip, landing and releasing 20 fish this afternoon. Congrats to Mike for popping his striper cherry, great time guys.

Bruce Jernick Stripers

Capt Greg had Bruce back for his yearly charter and our first few drifts of the day were excellent on live bunker! Had our limit in a blink before the boat traffic got bad. The fishing slowed but we steadily picked a few fish just about everywhere we looked. Called it an early day!
