Jim P Bonito and Fluke

Capt Greg had Jim P with his dad and son on board. Decided to start with some inshore speedsters and caught some bonito with an Albie mixed in on Nomad Ridgeback Long Cast 20g and 40g jugs. Switched over to fluke and put a couple of keepers in the box including Barrett's 23 inch fluke. Not a ton of pics but put together a nice box

John Vanator Offshore

Had John Vanator with brother Jim and son Joe with buddy Josia. Started out jigging and livelining on great life for tuna no luv. Went on troll same. Customers flew in from Michigan and wanted fresh fish. Switched gears to accommodate them, started with mahi which were cooperative, easily landing over 30. Switched to tiles and Nomad jigs to 420 grams was the ticket!

Tim Conway Offshore Mixed Bag

Had Tim Conway with family and friends today. Started out with a yellow to get the day started, was slow on troll. Decided to run and gun  under the skippies for yellows but no luck just landed skippies. Changed gears and had a tilefish beat down getting double headers bluelines and nice goldens. Went looking for more surface action on tuna but no life so switched up and had a nice bite on the mahi to end the day.

Brock Family Summer Stripers

Had Jay Brock and family out today before Nathan leaves for college in Florida. Started off striper fishing and saw a solid bite despite the lack of tide. Nathan caught his first striper and the rest of the crew as well. After they had their striper fill we switched over to fluking where the lack of drift really hurt us. Caught some shorts and headed home to round out a beautiful morning before this weather comes in tomorrow.

Bryan Hahm and Family Fluke

Capt Greg and Jimmy had the Hahm brothers with their girlfriends for a day of fluke fishing. First time fluke fishermen but they got the hang of it. Had good fluke action with 7 making keeper size and a couple ling in the mix. The biggest fish was 22" and will be fluke sashimi tonight for the crew!
